Chicken Bella...

Chicken Bella Redo!

So, for Valentines Day Josh and I got to go out to eat at Ruby Tuesday! It was really good, we had a great waitress who was super nice and everything. I ordered Chicken Bella and it was absolutely AMAZING! And, it was so simple. So I said to myself "Self this is something that you should be able to make, No problems!" and so begins this Chicken Bella Redo post.

So First off Ingredients:
1. A chicken breast for each family member
2.Montreal Steak Seasoning (I used  McCormick grilling mates version)to taste
3.Salt and Pepper to taste
4.1 Tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
5. 1 cup of oil to fry chicken breast and onion in (can use butter or crisco)
6.One large container of mushrooms from your supermarket (I used Babybellas)
7. Half of a large onion
8. Parmesan Cream Sauce 1-2 cups * I used two different kinds as I had leftover, I used a Roasted Garlic Parmesan sauce from Ragu and a Bertolli Mushroom Alfredo mixed half and half*
9.Mashed Potatoes (I made mine the real way but if your an instant fan be my guest!)

So... Now that we are done with that. Step by step destructions... Opps! I meant directions. With some pictures. I am hoping that my computer complies with me and I get them all in here!

Step one:
Sliver your onion and chop and clean your mushrooms. Add oil to your skillet along with one of the two tablespoons of minced garlic that we talked about and heat the skillet to a medium heat.Add in your mushrooms and onions. Let cook until the onions are soft and the mushrooms are done. Turn down on low or let cook while you work on everything else.

Step Two:
Heat another large skillet and add the rest of the oil to it. Season Chicken Breasts with salt, pepper, and Montreal Steak seasoning to your taste and fry in the other frying pan and brown until done. For me this took some time but as you see they should be nice and brown. Remove from the pan when you are done. I put mine in a Pyrex Dish

Step Three:
Turn your onion and mushroom mixture back up to medium and add the remaining teaspoons of minced garlic to them and after about three minutes turn the heat back down to a 2 or 3 (Lowish)Add the cream sauce until it looks like my skillet does in the picture below... you should add one to two cups.

Step Four:
Make your Mashed taters.
Everyone does this one differently so be my guest, I attached a picture of my taters so yall can see em! =)

Step Five:
Enjoy!
Grab a piece of juicy chicken (spoon any juice that may have gathered in the dish over the chicken) and top with a liberal spoonful of the mushroom onion cream mixture and serve with a side of tatters and whatever other veggie you threw with it.=)

Just wanted to add a note that at the restaurant it didn't have onions in it at the restaurant but I love onions so I added some anyways. Feel free to remove them if you want!
